Taking Things Apart
to See What’s Inside
When I was six years old, I completely dismantled my father’s power drill. Every screw, every gear, every tiny piece—just to see how it worked.
Not because it was broken, but because I had to understand what was happening inside.

That same curiosity has never left me.

If something isn’t working the way it should—whether it’s a household appliance, a leadership challenge, or an entire organizational system—my instinct is the same.
Take it apart, study it, and figure out how to put it back together in a way that makes it work better.

This way of thinking has shaped everything I do.
Curiosity, Leadership, and
a Different Way of Seeing Things
I’ve always believed that understanding something deeply is the key to improving it. That’s why I approach leadership challenges the same way I approached that power drill when I was six—I break them down, analyze the mechanics, and figure out where things are misaligned.

Over the years, I’ve noticed that leadership isn’t failing because of a lack of talent or motivation. It’s failing because of structural gaps, misaligned goals, and missing support systems that make it difficult for even the best leaders to thrive.

I started asking:
🔹 Why do some leaders struggle, even when they have the right skills?
🔹 Why do teams lose motivation, even when leadership is strong?
🔹 Why do leadership programs fail to create real, lasting change?

I couldn’t stop thinking about these questions.

And the more I studied leadership, the more I realized that the models we’ve been using—while useful—were missing something critical.

I didn’t set out to create a new leadership framework. I just wanted to understand why leadership development so often fell short.
But as I kept taking it apart, looking for what was missing,
I started seeing a better way.
A Different Approach to
Leadership Development
That’s how the 7-HTL Empowerment Framework came to be—not as an abstract theory, but as a practical, structured way to make leadership work better.
I built it for leaders who don’t want more theory—they want solutions that actually change the way leadership happens in their teams and organizations.
I believe that leadership isn’t just about individual skills—it’s about creating a system where leadership thrives.

That’s what led me to help people who develop leaders find better ways to diagnose leadership challenges, apply the right solutions, and build leadership systems that work.
Let’s Talk About Big Ideas
If you’ve ever taken something apart—just to see how it works—I think we’d get along.

If you’re the kind of person who questions the way things have always been done, who sees gaps in leadership and wants to fix them, then I’d love to connect.
